1 lb. Brown Beans (Pinto)
1/2 packet of Smokehouse Seasoning
Wash beans according to package. Cover in water and let set overnight. Drain again in the morning. Rinse. Cover beans with water that comes 1-2 inches over the beans. Add Smokehouse Seasoning. Bring to boil. Turn down to a simmer. Simmer approximately 3 hours or until tender. You will have to add water as needed.
Serve with our Country Cornbread, chopped onions, and slaw. It doesn’t get any more country than that and oh, so good!
