1 lb. Brown Beans (Pinto)
1 packet of Smokehouse Seasoning
Wash beans according to package. Cover in water and let set overnight. Drain again in the morning. Rinse. Cover beans with water that comes 1-2 inches over the beans. Cook for 1 1/2 hr. on medium low heat. Add Smokehouse Seasoning. Simmer for approximately 1 1/2 hours or until tender. You will have to add water as needed.
Serve with Country Cornbread, chopped onions, and slaw. It doesn’t get any more country than that and oh, so good!
