Fall is almost here and we are winding down at the farm

We love all seasons for different reasons.
At the farm spring is planting and new growth.
Summer is pleasant in the hollow because the trees and hills around us keep it literally 10 degrees cooler than everyone else but the garden keeps us hopping all summer.
Fall foliage here is gorgeous. Mornings are cool and crisp. The air smells of leaves and apples. Fall is also a time for cleaning up, putting up and preparing for winter.
Winter rolls in and it is a very busy season for us through December. January, February are testing new recipes, developing new products, planning, resting and preparing to start the cycle all over.
The farm is so peaceful. It will soon be pumpkin carving, pumpkin pies, long walks in the cool crisp air and soup season. We also will begin to use the wonderful bounty of our summer garden.
Everyone have a blessed season.
